Discover Somewhere New In Your Local Area

During lockdown, my housemates and I decided to get some fresh air and explore somewhere new. For us, this was Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds. We were stunned by the historic ruins amongst the tranquil surroundings.
There is no doubt that both walking and being in nature has been a sure-fire way to escape, relax and keep calm during lockdown. Share your unique stories and experiences in nature and how it helped you using the hashtag imbalancedhouse on social media!

Being Creative In Nature

Drawing is a unique skill that encourages one to stay present through the power of creativity. There is no right or wrong; no pressure; no thoughts or worries. Just you, your imagination, pen and paper. When I have a minute to spare, I like to draw past experiences and memories as they allow me to relive those places in my thoughts that I hold dearest. When you next go on a walk, try and take some photos and draw your experience!
